IT CLUB

IT CLUB has been constituted in the college with the support of the college management in association with IQAC. To empower students of all majors and skill levels to explore, build, and innovate with technology through hands-on workshops, collaborative projects, and community events. To bridge classroom theory with real-world practice, host talks with industry professionals, and support career readiness through mentorship, hackathons, and career workshops. By fostering an inclusive, ethical, and problem-solving culture, To help members grow practical skills, expand their networks, and create tech solutions that benefit campus and the wider community.

The IoT (Internet of Things) program marked the launch of an innovative initiative focused on smart technologies, connected systems, and real-world applications of IoT. The event highlighted the program’s vision, objectives, and planned activities, encouraging students to explore sensor-based solutions, automation, and data-driven technologies. The program successfully set the foundation for hands-on learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and technological advancement within the institution.

The hackathon aimed to unleash students’ creativity and engage them in innovative problem-solving activities .The two-day program included various technical sessions and competitions such as Web Designing, Prompt Engineering, Brochure Making, and Resume Making. Participants enthusiastically took part in all events, showcasing their technical proficiency and creativity. The sessions encouraged students to collaborate, think critically, and apply their knowledge practically.

WORLD COMPUTER LITRACY DAY

The Department of Computer Application, in collaboration with IQAC and the IT Club, organized a Career-Ready Document Workshop on 2nd December 2025 at 01:30 PM in the Computer Lab as part of World Computer Literacy Day celebrations. The programme was designed to benefit Psychology and BA English students, enabling them to create professional documents essential for career advancement and higher studies. The session was led by Mohammed Irfan K M (2nd BCA), who handled the workshop in a practical and interactive manner. Students were introduced to the basics of MS Word, document structure, resume and CV preparation techniques, and formatting guidelines.
