Anti Narcotic Cell

The Anti –Narcotic Cell of the institution is constituted to ensure a safe , healthy , and drug free campus environment . The cell works towards preventing the use , possession ,and distribution of narcotic substances among students through awareness , education and ,preventive measures . It organizes ,seminars ,workshops and counseling programs to educate students about the harmful social , legal and health consequences of drug abuse. Its primary objective is to create awareness , foster a culture of discipline and maintain a secure academic atmosphere conductive learning and personal development .

Anti Drug Awareness

An Anti-Drug Awareness Class was organized on 4 August 2025 by the College in collaboration with IQAC. The session was conducted by Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, Mr. P. N. Niju. The primary objective of the programme was to create awareness among students about the social dangers and harmful effects of drug abuse. The class successfully sensitized students and encouraged them to stay away from substance abuse. The programe was inaugurated by the College Manager, Rev. Fr. Shaju Kurishingal. The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Anu M.A. from the Malayalam Department, and the vote of thanks was proposed by the Principal, Mr Feby FAS. Assistant Manager Ans Pallissery and Vice Principal Dr. Rashmi P. A. were also present on the occasion.

On Awareness

The program aimed to create awareness among students, promote preventive measures, and encourage them to make positive life choices. Through interactive discussion and real-life examples, the session emphasized the message “Say No. Choose Life,” motivating students to stay away from drugs and contribute towards building a drug-free society.
